The Alabama Department of Finance supplies innovative, resourceful leadership and service in financial management and operational support with the intention to advance the Governor’s mission of restoring belief in state government. The Department’s research is each theoretical and empirical and covers the main areas of asset pricing and corporate finance. The finance discipline examines how individuals, companies and institutions increase funds to implement investment strategies and the way they allocate these funds to a variety of investment opportunities.

The ever popular one-day sponsored Finance Honours Retreat offers new students the chance to get to know more about one another, the lecturers, the Honours curriculum, the Honours analysis essay and a prestigious employer in preparation for a challenging 12 months forward.

Working closely with the Mayor, the Metropolis Council, and the Metropolis Manager, our division is committed to enhancing and maintaining the fiscal stability of our Metropolis. Accordingly, the Department was reorganized and its organizational construction, distribution of powers and features, and coordination mechanisms have been streamlined.

Division of Finance faculty members teach finance and real estate programs within the three main tutorial packages supplied within the McCombs College of Enterprise: the Bachelor of Enterprise Administration (BBA), the Master of Enterprise Administration (MBA), and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), and within the Enterprise Foundations certificate program.

The Finance Honours Program has an excellent popularity and is very regarded by private and public sector corporations, major corporations, investment banks and administration consulting corporations. With a number of divisions and more than 500 employees, the Division of Finance claims numerous tasks.
